This Week's Featured Artwork
Like many of my watercolors, "Moonraker" was inspired by the elements that play out regularly on the Hatteras Island stage. It's not unusual for us to experience days of sustained strong onshore winds. When those winds join forces with a high tide and the gravitational pull of a full moon, they create a surf so large that it appears to rake our planet's satellite. Such were the conditions that gave birth to "Moonraker".
This limited-edition art print is signed and numbered by me and comes matted as shown to fit a 16x20 frame.
