It rarely snows on Hatteras, and when it does, the island becomes a magical landscape, which I may translate into watercolor.  My painting, "Light Snow", depicts one of those rare occasions when the island was coated in white, and our world-famous sentinel stood silently amidst the softness of the falling snow.
